Nuclear
On July 16, 1945, the United States Army conducted the Trinity Test, detonating humanity’s first nuclear device, starting the Nuclear Age and astablishing a new era of mankind. The global nuclear arsenal is estimated to be around 20.000 nuclear warheads. Nuclear power despite its imense destructive power, represents a highly efficient energy source with low carbon emission, nontheless it creates another tricky and unsolved problem of dealing with its radioactive nuclear waste which will remain toxic for the next 500.000 years.
